Export storyline to Word doesn't work
HI Alyssa, I am having the same issue. Is it possible to please get some help as my only other option is to screen shot every single screen into a word document... Thanks :)
Hi Julie!
Sorry to hear you're also running into trouble getting your Storyline 360 course exported to Word. I'd be happy to help!
I just had some clarifying questions first to get a better idea of your setup:
- Have you tried importing the slides from the troublesome file into a new blank Storyline 360 project?
- Are you working locally? We recommend you create, edit, and publish courses on your local hard drive.
- Is this issue occurring with all of the Storyline 360 you attempt to export to Word or just a specific one?
It would be helpful to take a closer look at the project file itself, so we can test the functionality on our end. Would you be willing to share it here in the discussion or privately through a support case? We'll delete it from our system once troubleshooting is complete!

Hi there,
Thanks for the quick reply 😊
I have opened a case – 03649898.
I have tried importing the slides into a new project and this error occurs with every Storyline file we create.
Would be grateful for your help.
Thanks

Hi Julie!
Thanks for following up and sharing the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far!
Great call on opening a case! I see my colleague Dexter has picked it. You're in excellent hands working with him! It looks like Dexter replied to your e-mail with some follow-up questions and troubleshooting steps. I'd suggest giving those a try to see if that does the trick!
Also, It looks like part of your email signature came through when you replied via email. You can remove that if needed by clicking ‘Edit’ beneath your response. Here’s a quick Peek video if you need help!
