Eyedropper lost alignment
Hi Todd!
I’d be happy to help troubleshoot why the eyedropper tool is not aligning with your colors properly!
Testing it out on my end, the performance of the eyedropper tool is accurate and responsive.
I just had some clarifying questions:
- Are you working with multiple monitors? We have seen issues in the past with the eyedropper tool when more than one monitor is in use. This was due to the different DPI settings between screens.
- Have you tried performing a repair of your Storyline 360 software to see if that helps?
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hello. Thanks for getting back to me. I am working with multiple
monitors. I have moved SL to each one & the effect is the same. Please
note that this was not an issue before (I believe) the last update. I
have also followed the instructions on how to repair SL and, after
restarting my computer, the problem remains the same.
Have you seen this issue before? What other steps can I take? Right now,I
have to pull things out of SL and into Illustrator to match colors.
Thanks,
T.

Hi Todd!
Thanks for sharing feedback on the troubleshooting steps you’ve tried so far!
I have one more suggestion that could help us narrow down the root cause of this issue.
You mentioned this problem only occurred recently after updating Storyline to version 3.74.30180.0. If you could, please temporarily install the previous version of Storyline (ver. 3.73.30119.0) and then test the functionality of the eyedropper tool again.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
