Feature suggestions for RISE360
Would the Articulate team consider the following RISE360 feature suggestions that could really enhance the user experience and streamline course creation please:
- Drag-and-Drop Block Reordering
The ability to drag and drop blocks into any order, rather than relying solely on the up/down arrows. Rearranging blocks—especially when they need to move across large sections—can be time-consuming. - Global Background Colour Setting in Theme View
Currently, I have to manually set each block’s background to #f2f2f2, which is tedious and easy to overlook. A global background colour option in the Theme settings would save time and ensure consistency across the course. - Navigation via Dividers
It would be great if Dividers could function like Buttons, allowing navigation to other lessons. Dividers are more compact and better suited for including instructional text, making them ideal for guiding learners through different sections. - Conditional Lesson Visibility Based on User Type
I often create courses for multiple user types (e.g., three distinct groups). It would be fantastic to build one comprehensive course and use navigation settings to show or hide specific lessons based on the learner’s role or group. This would reduce duplication and simplify course management. - Text Wrapping Around Images in Image Blocks
Adding the ability for text to wrap around images within the Image block would be a huge improvement. It would save space within the block and allow for more aesthetically pleasing layouts, especially when combining visuals with explanatory text. - Customisable Numbering in Numbered List Blocks
It would be helpful to have the option to change the numbering in Numbered List blocks. For example, starting from a specific number or continuing numbering across multiple blocks. This would improve flexibility when structuring content across sections.
Thank you Articulate.

When trying to replace an image used in the Labeled graphic within the Interactive block, there's currently no reference to the file name of the image that's already in use. This makes it difficult to confirm which image you're replacing, especially when multiple similar images are involved.
It would be helpful if the system displayed the current image file name similar to how it’s done in the Image blocks

6. Customisable Numbering in Numbered List Blocks
This is already possible.

Just tried your instructions in a list block and yes, that works as you say KarlMuller 😀 Thank you.
Staying on this subject, regarding continuing numbering, it would be beneficial to also have this feature within paragraphs, as is possible in MS Word.

RE: Improved Divider block
Great to see new features for the Divider block, which I only just found this week - The Divider width, colour and corners can now be changed via the Format screen:
- Width can be amended from as low as 100 to 920.
- Button colour can be amended.
- Corners can now be rounded off by applying the corner radius setting.
Thanks, Articulate!

RE: New Custom Block
I am also using the new Custom Block (BETA) a lot more than other blocks, and the AI tools for images and text improvement are superb tools!
My favourites so far are:
- Conversations
- Comparisons
- Blank
The AI image tool makes it easy to replace/add the characters and images in those blocks.
I'm very pleased with the look of my eLearning lessons, and the AI features save a significant amount of creation time.

RE: Request for library of AI audio characters
If Articulate would please consider increasing its library of AI audio characters to include a larger choice of British characters, please? It would also be useful to have Irish and Scottish AI speakers, too, please. So far, I have become reliant on Sophie Langford, and she may be getting a sore throat from overuse.😅
