Feedback Master: Customized buttons do not show hover state on feedback layers

Sorry to hear you've run into this setback working with the Feedback Master in Storyline!
The behavior you shared sounds similar to a Storyline bug we are currently tracking. Do you mind sharing a copy of the .story file that's giving you trouble? We'd be happy to take a closer look and confirm if you are being affected by the same issue.

Thank you for your answer - I did upload my file in a support case. I'm glad to hear that I didn't overlook something very obvious. Good luck tracking and solving that bug :)
Do you have any idea if we can expect the bugfix soon (then I would wait for it) or if it might take months for it to be solved (then I design the button withouth a hover)?

I see that you've connected with my teammate Ian, through your support case. As Ian shared, we can confirm the behavior you described is related to a Storyline bug currently being tracked. This bug causes:
- Editing States on the Feedback Master does not change States on the Feedback Layer.
In the meantime, as a workaround, we suggest modifying Button States for each individual layer, at the Slide-level.
I've linked this discussion to the bug report, so we can notify you as soon as a fix is in place. While I can't speak to a timeline of when this issue will be resolved, this article goes into deeper detail on how we manage feature requests.
