Filling placeholder text on layer on slide using master layout
Hello. I'm wondering how to access the placeholder text that's on a layer on slide a master layout that contains the layers.
The base layer gives instructions, and each layer should display a diff...

The purpose of the master is to save time if you are putting the same thing on each slide (or layer). That means you can't access a layer on a slide master any way except the development work you do in the Master view, and any triggers that are on the slide master.
In this case, the text placeholder itself is the only recurring item. Create a layer master with a text box on it, and format it the way you want. Then on the slides that need them, add a layer and put the text in it.
Just for fun, check the sample for a way to have a layer on the slide master, and have it change on each slide. It's fun, but I think more work than just creating layers on each slide.
