Find & Replace in Rise 360?
I found some older posts about this topic, so I'm looking for current information.
Is there a find & replace text feature in Rise 360 now?

Fantastic. Thank you JudyNollet for looping that in. It certainly is tucked away, and has some definite limitations at this stage, but it's a massive step forward.
Basic test to change a word. Response:
- "All editable text and metadata within the lesson 'Features' were updated to replace every instance of 'DIN' with 'DOG'."
- "Some blocks with unsupported types were not edited, so instances of 'DIN' may remain in those specific blocks."
The second part annoyed me, because it puts you back in the same position of needing to manually identify where all the missed/unsupported instances are. But, I asked "are you able to identify all instances where DIN was not updated to DOG?" and it gave me a list of everything it skipped. So at least now I know exactly what I need to fix manually.
I then tried getting it to change the color or words, but it can't do that yet: "I can only update text and text metadata right now — not colors or other visual styling."
So it has a way to go, but at least it's taken the first step.Adding to the many many many Articulate customer desperately needing this feature.
Our company recently changed our branding. Absolutely no way to find and replace banner colors other than manually trudging through our hundreds of course files to find and update every one individually. Same with a recent product name update. Marketing do this stuff all the time. There has ot be a smarter way.
PLEASE! There are requests and discussions for this going back at least 8 years. Surely it's time.There is a new feature in beta that includes find-and-replace. I haven't tried it yet, but you can find out more here.

Not sure if this tip has been shared yet, but I recently had a big "Find / Replace" need in Rise. What helped me was to publish the course to PDF and then do a "Find" within the PDF and "Replace" in Rise.

Thanks for sharing your workaround! I can definitely see how publishing your course to a PDF to search for text, then manually making those updates back in Rise, could become time-consuming, especially when you're working with larger courses.
I'd love to learn a little more so I can share additional context with our Product team:
- How often do you find yourself needing to update text across an entire Rise course?
- What kinds of updates are you typically making, such as terminology changes, branding updates, or correcting repeated content?
- If Rise had a built-in Find & Replace feature, what would your ideal workflow look like?

Thank you, Matt. I have checked with some of the learning designers in my team and they are doing something similar. It is just frustrating that this has been requested over the past few years and has not been actioned.
Hope this might help people in this thread - i've created a simple tool for this. Its a bit of a work around, but it does streamline things somewhat.
I succesfully bulk updated the US to UK English for a package i'm working on, which I've put as a preset, but you can add other find and replace commands.
Just export the xlf file from Rise. Modify it in the tool then re-upload.
I can add features if you want to request them, or if you find a bug, please let me now.

Find and replace needs to be a basic feature and its crazy this just hasn't been implemented in the roadmap.
I have to agree with this. My job as a course quality reviewer requires me to constantly check when a term has been used in a course or whether it has been presented in a different way (allcaps versus nocaps for example). I cannot do this in edit mode and have to have a separate window open in preview mode to search the course but even then I cannot replace what is wrong with what is correct as the functionality does not exist. This means that work takes longer and is more open to items being missed. I know I ask for a lot of things from Articulate Rise 360, but they are all important and need to be addressed.

I was doing an onlilne search to try and find out how to do a basic find and replace in Rise, only to find that this feature is not available - and that users have been asking for it for years!
Is it really so difficult to do?
