Fonts are displayed incorrectly after switching to Windows 11
Hello everyone,
We are switching our system to Windows 11. At the same time we still have some PCs working with Windows 10. All of them are running Storyline 360 and we need to be able to work on the same projects with all PCs (Win 11 & Win 10).
On our Windows 11 PC we experience a problem when we want to work on our Storyline projects. The font "Wingdings" is no longer displayed correctly. Instead of the signs and icons we see letters. This only appears in Storyline. Our other applications seem to work fine with all fonts.
Our projects were using the old way of Text rendering instead of the modern approach, so we tried this approach for a solution.
When switching to modern text rendering the font is displayed correctly. However, this way we experience problems when publishing on our old system with Windows 10. Then the Fonts "Frutiger 45 Light" and "Frutiger 55 Roman" which are ultimately required are displayed incorrectly in the published version of the training.
Does anyone else experience this kind of issue and have an idea on how to solve it?
Thank you in advance and best regards

What are your fonts "Frutiger" doing? How are they displaying?

a short test with Wingdings 1/2/3 with Windows 11 - no problem

you should create a small sample .story file with "Wingdings" and "Frutiger"
- Publish to review 360
- post the link here in the forum
- upload the .story file here as attachment
- upload some screenshots made with your computer with the problem

Thank you for your reply.
One of the Frutiger Fonts is also not showing as expected.
Here is a review 360 example published on Win11. https://360.articulate.com/review/content/8e7345ec-598f-4b8c-a73a-26d468217873/review
The "Y"s and the "ü" should be symbols from wingdings.
In the attachment you can find the example story and also 2 screenshots. 1 from Win 10, where everything displays as expected and one from Win 11 where the issue can be seen.

this is the result, if I publish your example to review 360 (Windows 11 Pro 22h2)

Wingdings is ok, but I have no Frutiger 45, 55 on my computer - so I cannot test this fonts
very strange - Wingdings is a preinstalled font from Microsoft and should work
perhaps other installed fonts interfere
you should open a support case
