Free Mario Game! (But I also need your help with cut-off text)
Hello!
I have created a Mario guessing game here (you have to guess as many Mario characters who appear in Mario Kart 8 as you can)
It all goes well until you start scoring above ten. There is number variable in a text box in the top right that changes as you +1 to your score. When the score goes into double digits, the text box starts cutting off one of the digits (see screenshot). It doesnt seem to make a difference which font I use, the screenshot shows a custome Mario font as well as Open Sans. The score should be showing 10.
Feel free to have a go off the game (here is list of the answers if you need help getting over 10)
And I have attached the story file as well if you want a play / to challenge your kids
thanks in advance!

Hey Martin,
looks like Storyline only makes the text boxes with the variables as wide as is needed initially and doesn't adapt when the variable reaches the double digits.
As a workaround, you can add a few empty SPACE-clicks to within the text box before the variable, so the text box is initially wider.
It's-A-me,
Marc

Hey Martin! Super cool game! Thanks for sharing it with the community!
I'm sorry the text is getting cut off. That's strange, especially since your textbox is extended large enough to display it. If you don't mind, will you please send your file to our support team so they can take a look? https://articulate.com/support/contact/feature-request.

Thanks Sarah, will do!
For now, Marc's workaround has worked a treat. Appreciate that Marc!
