Free template - animated buttons, cards, arrows
I was testing some things out to explore the use of gifs in SL and managed to create a variety of enjoyable interactions.

Out of curiosity, when you click a GIF to get it to animate and change, are you using states or layers to display the new animation... or maybe a third option I haven't even thought of?
And nevermind... I just noticed you included the Storyline file so we could all take a peek at how it functions. Using normal and hidden states for this project was such an elegant solution!
