Freeform Pick One Error

I'm working on a pick one game using the Freeform option. I am using two objects that have line animations and I created a trigger for the "submit" to occur once the object reached the end of the animation rather than by clicking the submit button. The problem I am running into is that only the "correct" layer shows when the correct option reaches the end of the line motion. The "incorrect" layer does not pop up when I click on the incorrect option. It just does nothing. I'm thinking I have done something wrong related to the trigger order or maybe I need a condition in place since both objects have a submit trigger? I've tried several things and can't figure it out. I attached the content I'm referring to (please disregard that there is still missing content related to the unit pricing). Thank you in advance for any assistance!

  • The trigger to Submit when Larger motion path completes is corrupted. You can tell if you select it. The delete icon is inactive, and the delete key doesn't delete it.

I created a shape, and changed that trigger to "when user clicks on shape." Then with the trigger attached to the shape, I deleted the shape, and the trigger was deleted, too. Then I copied and pasted the trigger from small, changed Sm Ketchup to Lg, and it works.

  • Hi Walt! Thank you for finding that corrupted path. I followed your instructions and updated the path for the Lg ketchup, but when it moves to the cart, it still doesn't show the "incorrect" slide layer. It just moves to the cart and then nothing happens.

  • Melissa,

Looks like Walt gave you an idea. Here is another approach. There are only two options (big ketchup bottle and little ketchup bottle). Either they get it right or wrong. The interaction is currently set to Unlimited attempts (Form View >Question tab). Change the attempts to 1 and you will see the incorrect layer appear.

With unlimited attempts you'll never see the incorrect layer.

You are welcome. Sometimes, it just takes a new set of eyes to look at something! :)

Happens to me all the time.
