"Generate Closed Captioning" checkbox inside of Text-to-Speech feature no longer stays ticked
Starting about a week ago, the checkbox at the top of the Text-to-Speech window needs to be re-checked every time I create a new file. In other words, it used to always maintain my previous setting (I want it always checked 'on'). Is anybody else experiencing this? Is this a bug or a feature?
Note: I am working locally, and I just updated to the latest software version today.

(For clarity) I should have said "every time I move to a new slide," not new file. The context of this issue is within the same Storyline project.
Hello EvanLloyd,
Sorry to hear about the trouble! I appreciate you sharing the details and the screenshot.
I wasn’t able to reproduce this using the latest version of Storyline 360. The “Generate Closed Captions” checkbox stays ticked across slides on my end.

Since you mentioned updating to the latest build, let’s first rule out an installation issue by following these steps: How to Fix Unexpected or Erratic Behavior
If the problem continues, could you share the steps you’re taking when it happens? Also, does it occur in all your projects or just a specific course?
And if you’d like more one-on-one help, you can always connect with us privately in a support case.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

I appreciate the reply Eric. As noted in the original post, I was and am using the most current version of the software and working off my local drive. I did the uninstall/reinstall as described in the "How to Fix Unexpected or Erratic Behavior" link you posted, and the issue still persists. This issue occurs in all projects.
It's a minor issue, so hopefully it is resolved in the next software update. If it becomes a major inconvenience, I will open a support case.
