Ghost Outline of Movies in Storyline 360
Greetings all,
When I place movies (.mov) into a Storyline 360 project I randomly see a thin black line on one or more edges of the movie. Sometimes they exist and sometimes they don’t.
Stranger yet, at least for me, if I try to do a screen shot, the outline goes away. The attached photo had to be taken via phone.
I’m wondering if anybody else has had this experience and of course even better if they have a solution.
Any chance it has something to do with monitor size or screen resolution? It seems like when I’m building on my laptop they happen less frequently or not at all. Move to my multi-monitor set up and there they are.
I have previewed this and published to Review 360 and get the same thing. If the lines exist when I see them locally, they are seen when published. When I don’t see them, they’re not in the published version either.
Any help anybody can give this is appreciated.

This is happening to me as well. I get a thick vertical line down the right of my images. Only on some. I haven't downloaded the course yet to see if it's maybe just a preview bug. If there is a solution for this, please update!

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing an issue with some of your images. I'm happy to help troubleshoot and have a few clarifying questions to help me better understand.
- Tony's issue appeared when inserting movies. Are you seeing this with images only or videos as well?
- Are you inserting these images from the Content Library or somewhere else?
Please make sure you're using the latest version of Storyline 360, and let us know if you're still seeing the vertical line in the published course. If you're comfortable uploading a screenshot or a copy of your course, it'd be helpful to narrow down the issue. You can share those here or privately in a support case, and we'll delete them from our systems once troubleshooting is complete.
