I just answered a similar question in a separate post from Elizabeth. Here's what I wrote to her:
Depending on the scope of your Glossary, you might want to put it on a slide instead of in the built-in Glossary. That would allow you to format the text as desired. You could even add images or media.
For access, the slide could be lightboxed via a Player-level tab.
