Hi Lisa!
Let's say there are two projects, A and B. Project A is the main project, and Project B is the imported project. Project B is imported with its own Slide Master and Project A still has its own Slide Master. Imported projects won't change the original project's formatting, and the original project won't change the imported project's formatting. They're two separate projects in one Story. If I want Project B to use the same styles as Project A, then I'd apply the layouts from Project A's Slide Master to Project B's slides.
By "prioritized," I mean that even after importing Project B when I add a new slide, it will use Project A's Slide Master layouts since that's the original Slide Master in the course.
Hi Lauren,
Thanks for your response. So it sounds like heading styles are really configured more at the slide master level than at the project level, then. If they were set at the project level (to all master slides in the project across the board), then I would think this would apply to the imported masters, too.
Thanks,
Lisa
