HELP: Is there a way to record a Cue Point's time (seconds) as a variable?

In the timeline, when creating a cue point, it is assigned a time in seconds.
That cue point can be referenced in the trigger wizard and shows the position of the cue point in seconds,
It seems that since this time/position is recorded, there should be a way to access it to define a variable.
However, I am hitting a brick wall here.

Am I missing something?
How do I set a variable based on the numeric value (in seconds) of a cue point position on the timeline?

Or can I access the cue point in JavaScript using an ID or name?

Thanks for any help or suggestions. ^__^

  • Hi MichealMathews sorry, this is a bit of an old one and you've likely moved on. I'm afraid there is no link between variables and the cue points.

Are you able to share what you were looking to achieve? Were you wanting to manipulate cue points using variable values instead?
