Home button hover over
Hi.
I have a slide with variables that need to be met before the default next button becomes active. Is there a way to add a hover over message stating something along the lines of "Complete all tasks on the slide to move on" that appears when someone prematurely attempts to click the next button?
Thanks,
Stuart.

A possible approach is to use the button’s disabled state and provide feedback when the learner tries to proceed before completing the required tasks. If the authoring tool supports hover states or custom triggers, you could display a short tooltip such as “Complete all tasks on this slide to move on.”
This gives learners clear guidance without interrupting the interaction and makes it obvious why the Next button isn’t available yet.
Yes. You can add a message with a hidden object (change state) or in a layer (show layer). Put a trigger on the button to show the message when a specific condition is met.
You don't want to disable the next button. Instead you want a condition on it. Here's a quick tutorial.
