How can I customize a video cover/landing page on RISE page?
Hello PhoebeLu-4abae4,
Happy to help!
When you upload a video to a Rise 360 video block, the block will display the first frame of the video as a thumbnail. If you want a specific image to be displayed as your video thumbnail, you can use Replay 360 or another video editing tool to edit your video and add your desired image for the thumbnail at the start of the video. Doing so will replace the black screen shown in your attached image.
I hope this helps!
I'm struggling with this as well since other videos built in other tools don't appear with a black screen with a play button, but those videos created in Storyline do. This is very inconvenient since we need all of our videos to appear the same way in Rise. Having to pull the videos into another app just to fix this is frustrating and time consuming. Storyline should consider changing how mp4s created in the tool appear in Rise. Especially if they will behave differently than other MP4s.
