how can i edit the marker / hotspots in a 360 image

I love the 360 image, but can't seem to figure out how to either put a transparent hotspot over an item (always has an outline around the box)  or change the backgrounds and formats of markers.

What am i missing?

  • Hello Ari,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

I appreciate you taking the time to share what you’d like to see in Storyline 360/Rise 360. We currently have this logged as a feature request, so I’ll go ahead and include your voice. We’ll update this discussion if this feature makes it on our feature roadmap.

Have a great start to your day! ☀️

Thank you for doing that.  It would seem to me that it would be  a very simple upgrade as the functionality to edit markers, hotspots and shapes already exists with the program.

I hope that it becomes a quick and easy win for storyline, as to be honest, using the hotspot on a 360 image with the border is a horrible visual.

  • Okay, when I'm kind of wrong,, I'll take the egg on the face.  You can change the icon in the marker to a limited selection, and the background can either be white or black.  Still would like the customization you can get with regular markers, but some of the functions are there.
