How do I create a survey question that allows essay text responses?
I have been researching for a while and all the info I can find is showing an older version of Articulate. Does the program no longer allow short answer responses on a quiz?
The only type of built-in Graded Question with a typed response is Fill-in-the-Blank.
You could also add a text-entry field to a slide, and then convert it to a Freeform Text Entry question.
For both of the above options, the program expects you to tell it what the correct response is. So those work well for very short answers, but not for essays.
The Built -in Survey Question do include an Essay option.
Note: You have to include a Survey Results slide to have the program send the survey response(s) to the LMS.
