How do I show the next slide after 3 incorrect attempts of a drag & drop activity?

Hello.

If you are doing the activity as a check question, then I would add additional layers. You could change the attempts to 3 in the Question Tools > Design. Then add the layers - One for correct, one for Try Again, and one Incorrect which shows the user the correct answers. You can add a Button on the correct layer and on the incorrect layer, call it Continue, and use the Object trigger to move to next slide when the user clicks the Continue button.

Make sure on the Incorrect layer to add the slide trigger(s) to show the correct answers are supposed to be selected.

You would have to go to the Slide Properties and under Slide navigation controls, un-check the Next boxes.

This has worked for me for activity and knowledge check questions.
