How set up 5 triggers on different sections of one image?
I also have the same question about setting up multiple triggers on different sections of a single image in Storyline. I can see why this would be a little tricky when the food groups are part of one larger image rather than separate objects. Ideally, clicking Grains, Fruits, Vegetables, Protein, or Dairy on the image on the left would display the matching image on the right without changing or covering the other sections unnecessarily. I’m also interested in how to make each section independently clickable when the boundaries are irregular and cannot easily be recreated with basic rectangles or other standard shapes.
One thing I would like to understand better is whether Storyline has a practical way to create custom freeform hotspots or use transparent shapes over individual food groups, so each area can trigger its own action. It seems like the important part is making the clickable regions match the actual outlines of the food groups while keeping the original image intact. I’d be interested to hear which approach other users have found easiest to maintain, especially when five different triggers need to control five corresponding images on the same slide. That would make this kind of interactive visual much easier to build and manage.
