How to add veniculum variables into Rise

Hi! I'm trying to place veniculum variables into a paragraph text block in Rise, and I cannot do it. I can easily create the variables in PowerPoint or Word, but I cannot copy/paste or do shortcuts to put the same symbol into Rise.

See the image below; I would like the H in "The average H of a set . . ." to have the veniculum. You can see the veniculum variable H in the equation below the sentence.

Thank you!

  • Hello CecilyDodge , 🎉

I’m happy to let you know we released a new update for Rise 360. This update adds the following feature:

With this new feature, you’ll be able to add veniculums to your Rise courses. There’s nothing to install for web apps. New features and fixes are immediately available, though you might need to publish your Rise 360 course again.

Let me know if you have any questions about this update or the new feature.

  • HI Cecily! Your best option for adding mathematical equations in Rise is to create an image of the equation and add it as an image block in Rise.  We have a feature request for a mathematical equation editor in Rise and I've added you to the list. We'll let you know here if we have updates regarding this feature.
