How to customise pointer on dial?

I'm looking for the steps to reduce the size of the pointer on a dial. The dial is quite large and so it's put a really big pointer on it. I can't find how to reduce the size to something ...
Thanks for the tip Judy. I might be misunderstanding your reference here. This doesn't let me change the size of the pointer. It just converts that shape to a dial. I want to have a smaller pointer than what storyline applies when I resize the dial.
