how to edit a course if i have .story and .zip source code?

I must update certain tests and actions of a course but I only have the .zip source code and I found the .story files but when loading into reach360 it gave me this error: "Unable to read imsmanifest.xml"
Now that I have the story I don't know where to load it, articulate has many tools but I don't know which one to use.
And I have the trial version in which the original software is found, do you think I can achieve it?

    Double click the .story file, and StoryLine will open it. Then you can edit it. The only difference between the trial version and the paid version is that after 30 days, the trial version won't start.
