About Jean Marrapodi
Jean is a pioneering problem solver. With nearly 30 years’ experience in corporate training in a variety of industries and higher education, she works to bring innovation to each organization, shifting paradigms and transforming learning methodologies. In 2016, she was honored to be named a Guild Master by the eLearning Guild for her lifelong contributions to the industry.
By day, Jean designs eLearning for a large regional bank in the Midwest. By night (and weekends, let’s be honest), she teaches graduate courses at two universities and runs Applestar Productions, her own consulting firm delivering custom workshops and targeted eLearning since 1999.
Jean has a PhD in Adult Education, a Masters Degree in Online Instructional Design and is a Certified Professional in Talent Development, ATD’s highest credential. She is a frequent conference presenter, delivering workshops in training, instructional design, eLearning and low literacy learning at the international, national, regional levels. She lives outside of Boston, MA with two cats determined to set the world record for shedding.
