How To Generate Rise Reports
Hi,
I'm subscribed to Articulate 360. I went to https://blog.rise.com/how-to-use-rise-reports-to-measure-your-training-program/ to see how I can generate Rise reports to measure my training programs but couldn't see any instructions there.
Can someone advise me?
Thank you.

Hi Peter,
Articulate offers different app combinations.
1. One combination is https://rise.com/ which bundles the Rise online course development tool and the Articulate LMS also called Rise. The reports you are offering to are a part of this product combination.
2. The other combination is https://articulate.com/360
Articulate 360 bundles the Rise 360 online course development tool, Storyline 360, Review 360, and Content Library 360. This offering does not include the Articulate LMS, so therefore no reporting either.
Based on what you have said, your have an Articulate 360 account, and reporting is not part of this type of account.
Hi Peter! Karl is spot on -- you're using Rise 360, but the blog post you read is about Rise.com.
Do you need a place to host your online training and track learner data? If so, Rise.com might be the perfect fit!
Rise.com is an all-in-one online training system that gives you one place to create, track, manage, and analyze your training. It includes all the authoring functionality from Rise 360, plus a library of pre-built lessons on common business topics.
Once you’ve created a course, you can enroll learners, track their progress, and analyze training effectiveness—all within Rise.com.
If you have any questions about how Rise could work for you, you can get in touch with the team here!

I am a bit surprised that there would be NO reporting in Rise 360 given that it's a cloud based solution. There are a ton of learning management systems out there and many of use have chosen another LMS solution. At the same time, as you know, many of us have developed a massive amount of training in Rise 360 and without some type of rudimentary reporting, your Rise 360 solution provides no decision support. I will have to say, I am very disappointed.

Hi Rick,
Articulate 360, of which 360 is a part, is simply a suite of online course development tools.
A development tool does not offer student accounts, tracking, data, recording and reporting. All of these functions require a LMS, and your Articulate 360 subscription does not include a LMS.

Completely agree with Karl, articulate 360 is an authoring tool that will report to an LMS. If you have an LMS you can install your packages in there.

I agree with Rick - there should be more reporting available. Its also really confusing that its a different website, but then when you want more information it leads back to Articulate. If there is a solution for reporting on Rise courses, it would be great to have the opportunity to get this as part of the Articulate 360 bundle aswell, even if it as at additional cost.

Hi Christina,
If you don't already have a LMS, as explained above, there is an alternative Articulate product bundle https://rise.com/
This bundle (requires a different account and paid subscription) will provide the Rise online course development tool and the Articulate LMS (also called Rise).

Hi Karl, Thanks for the reply. We already have an LMS, we use Kallidus. I just wonder why a greater level of reporting seems to be offered on the Rise/articulate LMS, as this is not available if you have any other LMS. The most we can get is complete/incomplete, and the question level reporting. It would be great to understand how far users have progressed through the course for example.

Hi Christina,
I have worked with several Learning Management Systems, and their reporting capabilities are vastly different.
Reporting depends on several factors:
- The level of detail in the data sent by the Rise course to your LMS
- Whether the LMS actually stores all the data it receives
- Which prebuilt reports are available to you in your LMS, is determined by the LMS vendor.
