How to have slide master always in foreground?
I am quite new and try to design my own slide master. I want to have all elements of my master in foreground, like a mask.
Right now pics that I add to my slides overlay the buttons in my slide master. And I cannot find any setting for that behavior.
Any tips or tutotrials?
Many thanks, Kris
Permanent objects on the Master Slide always appear under objects on the slide. Those objects won't appear on the Timeline, and they can't be used in triggers on the slide.
Only placeholders (where you add slide-specific content, such as the Title) will appear on the Timeline, and those can be rearranged with other slide elements.
To have Master objects appear over the slide objects, add a layer to the Master Slide. Put the objects on that layer. Add a trigger to the Master that shows the layer when the timeline begins.
Note: You'll have to be careful if you want to use layers on your slides. Those will be above the Master layer. And if their Slide Layer Properties are set to hide other layers, that will hide the Master one.

Dear Judy, thanks for detailed clarification. Not the one I was looking for, but it explains everything and I have to work with it. :-)
Buy the way: Do you know if there are German tutorials somewhere? Many thanks, Kris

You're welcome! Pay it forward when you can.
I don't know if there are any German tutorials. Articulate does have User Guides ( Articulate User Guides | Articulate - Community ). Those are in English, but you may still find them helpful.
If you have another problem that needs more help than the User Guides provide, simply start a new Discussion. That is more likely to be noticed and answered. It also will make it easier to find when others are searching because they have a similar question.
Best wishes as you learn the software!
