How to Make the Audio Restart on a Slide When Using the Player Control
I have a similar question, but I need the audio to replay without jumping back to the base layer, which is happening now.
Here is a recording of what I'm seeing. https://360.articulate.com/review/content/bf530b1e-aab1-4145-a790-57bc8e38de0c/review
Hi Devan,
Happy to help!
Can you let me know which specific event in the slide is suppose to trigger the audio replay so I can help you with your design? For your reference, this requirement will make use of the "Play media" trigger to replay the audio in the base layer, but you'll need to associate it with a specific event for the trigger to work.
Did you want to replay the audio when the learner clicks on a specific button? Or when a specific layer appears on screen?

Yes, I want the audio to replay when the user clicks the replay icon but not jump to the base layer. For example, if the user is on layer 3 of 4 and replays the audio I don't want it to show the base layer.

Hi Devan,
Thanks for the screenshot. The replay button in the Player resets the entire timeline, so this takes the user back to the very beginning of the slide when the base layer is still visible.
If you would like to reset just the audio file in the slide, you'll need to add a custom button designed to do just that. I've attached an edited version of your project file with a sample button for replaying the audio file.
