This is still not working for me as well.
I am the admin for our SharePoint site and have converted the extension to aspx. When I click on the link, it will still show as blank?

Hi Maryam! Changing the file extension from .HTML to .ASPX won't work if the permissions are set incorrectly.

We did it that way and it still didnt work.

It won't work. You cannot post to Sharepoint any more. The feature is no longer available.
