I added slider but the timeline is still advancing

What I am trying to do-
With slider changing its value there are text box that should appear.
What I have done-
I added slider. I added triggers that when the slider moves to particular value the timeline should reach to particular time.
But timeline is automatically going ahead even without clicking on the slider. The timeline is moving ahead irrespective of slider moving on particular value. Timeline is not stopping.
Please help me.
Adding a slider to a slide does not automatically pause/stop the slide's timeline. Try adding a trigger: Pause timeline of this slide when the slide's timeline starts.
