Image looks blurred, when using zoom tool

I inserted .png image in good resolution, it looks blurred,

Also i want to add zoom functionality over the image, but when i zoom the image it doesn't looks clear.

Can any one suggest is there any possibilities to add clear image with zoom functionality.

  • Hello, Jatin,

This issue might be related to the resolution of the image you've added. I saw an old discussion similar to this where they are able to make it work by increasing the resolution to about 300 pixels and then restoring the original dimensions of the image. You might want to try it out.

If you can also attach the image or a sample .story file with the problematic image, I can take a look at it on my computer and see if I can find a workaround.

    Happy to help.

  • Hey, Jatin,

Thanks for the update. Would it be possible for you to send the sample image or .story file so that I can take a look at it further?

    Thanks,

  • Greetings, Jatin!

Glad to see Jaycee is helping you out. 😀

To help brainstorm, we have a possible bug in Storyline that almost matches your description:

A PNG image that has a Zoom Region applied to it can appear blurry.

Let me know if that condition matches what you're seeing! Also, our Support team is a click away if you need fast help!

    Hi there,

I have the same issue (blurry image when zoomed in) and also tried to change the resolution of the image to 300px. Can anybody take a look with me to my project en image?

    Greetings, Anika

Thanks for reaching out, Anika! We'd be happy to investigate your file to help determine why you're seeing blurriness when zooming in.

I've opened a case on your behalf, so you should see an email with a private upload link. As soon as we review your project, we'll reach out with an update!
