Image without a caption

If you are using an image but don't want a caption under it, is there a way to get rid of the line under the image? Thanks

Hi,

It's important to note that there are differences between how an image Block caption area  is displayed while in Edit mode, and how an image block is displayed  Preview mode / once published.

Edit mode

The Caption field and the line below the Caption field will always appear.

Preview Mode / Published

If there is no text entered in the Caption field, in Preview Mode / Published, the Caption field and the line below the Caption field will NOT appear.

I'd primarily like to get rid of the blank space that remains underneath the image in the preview / published mode when using the image with text option. The text block will often be larger than the image itself, which ends up looking a bit unbalanced. Ideally, the bottom of the text block would then align with the bottom of the image.

    I'm happy to chime in! Can you try reducing the bottom padding and see if it helps with the spacing?
