Images skewed in Process Blocks

    Hello everyone, 🎉

    I'm happy to let you know we released a new update for Rise 360. This update fixes the issue you encountered where Process block images change their aspect ratio when zoomed.

    There's nothing to install for web apps. New features and fixes are immediately available, though you might need to publish your Rise 360 course again.

Thank you for investigating the problem.

Yes, when selecting Full Width I do see the cropping screen. It appears to work as normal.

I created a new process block and added the first image but still had the same problem. I also noticed something strange when I zoom the image - the aspect ratio corrects itself (the image ‘un-skews’). When I zoom back out, the image skews again. You can see it in this screencast...

    Hi Jessica!

    Thanks for sharing your test results and the screen recording! It helps a lot to understand the issue better.

    Since Rise 360 is responsive, images that span the entire screen width get cropped to fit different screen sizes and orientations. We observe this in the Process block when using image-full-widths. I tried using Align Center in Step 1 of my sample Rise course, and the issue is not happening. Try testing the share link of my sample course here and compare the Zoom-on-click behavior of Step 1 and Step 2.
