Importing Closed Caption Files from WellSaid in Storyline: Text Changes

Hello.  I have been importing both .vtt and .srt closed caption files, exported from WellSaid, into Storyline, but when I view the audio & CC text in the Closed Caption Editor, not only is the audio not aligned with the CC text, the CC text is different from what was exported from WellSaid:  Upper-case becomes lower-case, punctuation has been added, etc.  Has anyone experienced this before?  If anyone has a work-around to resolve this issue, I would like to know.  Thanks.

The misalignment happens periodically, but I haven't seen the case-switching you describe. The only workaround we use is to manually review each slide and the respective captions. But we did that when we were using only the SL voices, too, for the same reasons.

You may want to make sure that you are working on a local drive with your Storyline program (C:\Documents) - the behavior you illustrate here could be the result of having the story file on a shared drive or network location. I might also suggest that you build in a "review captions" step to whatever your workflow is, and plan to review and manually adjust both the caption text and the alignment as needed.
