Importing Flash Games into Storyline

I purchased a flash-based game from eLearning Brothers and want to import it into Storyline.  How do I do that?  Thank you!

Hi Niki, welcome to the community. Assuming that the game comes as a Flash (.swf) file, you can insert it into Storyline as described here.

  • HI Niki,

Hi!  The file is a .fla file.  I tried to upload from the Flash button on the ribbon and it didn't recognize the .fla file.

.fla is the Flash source file format. You first need to open the source file in Flash and then publish it to .swf

Ok, I opened Flash and accessed the .fla file to the game and got the following message:  "Unexpected file format."

You might want to check with eLearning Brothers' support. Maybe it's a Flash version issue.
