Inconsistencies with Screen Readers

I was reading a previous post and it didn't say what the solution was to this issue. This is a bit urgent for me. I'm using Jaws to read the screen. I have text in the captions field. Here's a screen shot of the grid:

What I've done and the results:

  • Without alt text, Jaws completely skips the block
  • With "" in the alt text, Jaws completely skips the block
  • When I copied the captions and pasted them in the alt text fields, Jaws read each one three times.

What do I need to do that I haven't tried to get Jaws to read the captions? If I can't get this figured out, I can't use the image grid blocks.

I've opened a ticket and thought I'd also check with the community.

    Sorry to hear the JAWS screen reader is not dictating your Rise 360 content as expected!

    Smart move on opening a support case! I see that you're working with my teammate, Cleober. It looks like he just replied to your e-mail with some follow-up questions.
