I suggest creating your own style. Here’s how to create and set a custom text style as the default for text boxes:
- Insert a text box with some text content.
- Select the Text Style box from the top toolbar and click + Add Style...
- Name your new style and click OK to confirm.
- Style the text as desired (e.g., adjust font size, color, family, or line spacing).
- Hover over New Style and click on Update style from selection
- Right-click the styled text box and choose Set as Default Text Box, so the next time you insert a text box, the new style is applied automatically.

Here's what I suggest: Create a temporary "storage" scene with a slide that has a text box (and any other special objects) set up the way you want it.
Copy and paste from that slide during development instead of always creating (and reformatting) something new.
