I suggest creating your own style. Here’s how to create and set a custom text style as the default for text boxes:
- Insert a text box with some text content.
- Select the Text Style box from the top toolbar and click + Add Style...
- Name your new style and click OK to confirm.
- Style the text as desired (e.g., adjust font size, color, family, or line spacing).
- Hover over New Style and click on Update style from selection
- Right-click the styled text box and choose Set as Default Text Box, so the next time you insert a text box, the new style is applied automatically.

All of the above suggestions are terrific. If you are wanting the spacing to be present any time you are using the normal text style, you can edit your text style to that setting. There are some settings that will not be a part of the Text Style, so if you also set your newly designed text box as your default you will be able to address that. Doing both of these steps should give you what you want.
