Invisible Videos
All,
I am adding videos to my Storyline, one criteria I am using to choose which ones I can use is based on the ones that will appear invisible or not.
I have added roughly my tenth one today that just wont appear when I preview or publish, I am constantly forced to keep choosing ones that do appear.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Thanks,
Karl

Hello karlos,
Thanks for reaching out! I want to confirm that the maximum file size for videos in Storyline 360 is 2GB each.
- When checking on your device, can you see if the video files you're looking to insert exceed that file size?
- Just to confirm, the videos you currently have in your course are visible when editing but not in preview or published outputs?
- Do you notice any change to the video behavior if you import your slides into a brand new .story file?
As a reference, I'd like to share our best practices when working with images and videos in Storyline 360.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hello LucianaPiazza,
Answer to your questions below:
- The video files are taken from the available library that came with A360.
- The videos don't show after any action e.g. they show when I stay in edit mode but it vanishes when I do the following:
- Preview all
- Preview this slide
- Publish as Video or Review 360
I have tried to resolve it by adding a new blank slide and adding the video file again, I have also tried to use the same video in different courses I am working on, nothing works.
I am currently finding around 20% of the videos I have tried to use experience this issue.
Thanks for the best practices, I will have a look at it.
Thanks for your help...
Hi karlos,
Are you working locally when adding your videos from Content Library 360? It's very strange that a percentage of the videos you add aren't displaying when you preview or publish your course. If you're already working locally, try repairing your Storyline 360 installation to see if this fixes the issue. If the issue persists, please open a case with our support team here to connect with a support engineer for further troubleshooting.
