If you can use a separate website, you might be able to embed the 3D .glb file into a webpage and then embed it into Storyline using an iframe element.
This article talks about embedding a .glb file using Model Viewer. Model Viewer will apparently take the .glb file and create an accompanying .html file. If you can upload the .glb and .html files to a website, you might be able to embed it into your project.
