Javascript variable or routine to toggle audio or seekbar

Hi,
My group is using audio narration in our eLearning modules. We'd like to use JavaScript to talk with our LMS to either:

• Turn on or off all of the audio in an eLearning

Or

• Lock or unlock the seek bar for the audio in an eLearning.

Are there JavaScript variables that we can use to do this? Alternatively, are there known JavaScript routines that would do the same?
