Laptop Specs for Storyline
As far as I'm aware Storyline is still a single-core, single-threaded application so CPU is mostly irrelevant. You could make a case for a decent dedicated GPU (to handle any possible inApp video-encoding more effectively), but again, no real need to go overboard.
So a fast Solid State (or better still - nVme) drive and lots of RAM (16 should be fine) should be more important in your scenario.
If possible spend some time to researching this topic, as a lot would depend on your budget. Right now, AMD seems to be the king of productivity so you can't go wrong with a 3000 series Zen2 CPU (a 3500, 3500X, 3600 or 3600X represent a VFM proposal right now).
Hope this helps,
Alex

Hello. I'm a Mac user and want to get a PC for using Storyline. I was looking at a laptop with these specs and am not sure what the GHz numbers mean. I see that Storyline's minimum is 2GHz. Will this work? Is 24GB memory excessive?
8th Gen Intel Core i5-8265U Quad-Core Processor (1.60 GHz Up To 3.9GHz 6MB Cache), 24GB DDR4 Memory, 256GB SSD
