Layer audio does not play correctly when layer is shown 2nd time
- 2 months ago
Hi all!
We just released Storyline 360 (Build 3.94.33511.0), which includes a fix for a bug that was reported in this thread: audio might not play as expected when using jump-to-slide triggers or adding audio to a slide layout.
To take advantage of this fix and others, all you need to do is update Storyline 360 in your Articulate 360 desktop app!
Hi Team, any solution for this issue?
Hi AmirSaifullah-3! I've responded to your post in this discussion. We'll continue the conversation there!
ChristopherH373 Could you also provide your .story file so we can test it out on our end? You can share it in this discussion or privately in a support case.

Hi Lauren ,
Thanks for getting in touch.
Please find attached file. this problem slide is the middle one. if you let the base layer complete the timeline, then go back, only the first audio file will play.
I have created a work around by exporting the slide as a video file, then isolating the sound file in Adobe Audition, then re-importing it as one file but this is rather time consuming.

Hi ChristopherH373,
Thanks for your update. I'm having difficulty opening your .story file on my end. Would you be able to re-upload your file to this thread in a new reply or privately within a support case? We'd be happy to take a closer look at your setup and test this on our end!
Looking forward to hearing from you!

If the issue is only with the base layer, I'd try combining all 3 audio files into one.

Hey Arron, i did that through Audition. it's a work around but this behaviour was fine several weeks ago.
