Learners not receiving Reach360 Notification about Enrollment
I am having this issue as well, we have tested it where we moved an existing learner into a group that has a learning path assigned, but no email was received to advise learning had been assigned. Can you please advise why the email wasn't triggered, or look into this?
Hi JessVance!
Thanks so much for testing that out. I appreciate you checking!
When a learner is added to a group that already has a learning path assigned, they’re enrolled in the content, but an email notification isn’t triggered in that case. Notifications are sent when learning is newly assigned or when a learning path is assigned to a group after learners are already in it.
If you’d like notifications to go out, you can simply reassign the learning path to the group once learners have been added.
Let me know if you’d like me to take a closer look at your setup. Happy to help!

Hi LaurenDuvall 🙂
That is good to know, I wonder if that could be an enhancement to the system?
If I reassign the learning path to the group, will that trigger an email to all learners in that group, or just the new ones? Also, if someone is currently working on the learning path, will it remove it as they're working on it? I know it would only take a few seconds but I'd not like to disrupt and learners while in progress.
Thank you!

Hey JessVance,
Great to see that my teammates have been helping you. Happy to jump in!
Reassigning a Learning Path to a group will trigger assignment notifications for all learners in that group, not just the newly added ones. Reach 360 treats that action as a new assignment event for the group. So even learners who were previously enrolled in that Learning Path will receive the email notification again.
Also, reassigning the Learning Path does not remove it from learners or disrupt their progress. Learners who are in progress, completed, or not yet started will retain their existing enrollment and progress status. The reassignment simply triggers the notification email, and those learners will not experience interruptions.
Having said that, I do understand your enhancement request. Since there currently isn't a way to selectively trigger notifications only for those specific learners via reassignment. I've submitted this feedback to our product team on your behalf.
We'll be sure to let you know if we release a future enhancement that helps!

Thanks for popping the feedback through! We don't want to confuse/annoy learners that already have the course/learning path, as it could end up that they would receive an email potentially every day - not a great experience. We're very busy Reach users as you can tell 😅
Have a great day!
