Learning Modules not opening
Hi people,
An online module created in Rise was updated last week and since then learners have been unable to open the module. The module tries to open and then fails leaving a blank screen.
The module is one that needs to be recompleted each year and we are finding that people who have already completed are unable to open the module. Our LMS vendor has replicated the issue and have identified a problem with the SCORM file. As this happened only recently wondering if a change in Rise has affected the output.

Have you made any structural changes to the course by adding or deleting Lessons, since it was initially published?

Hi Karl,
The only changes were to remove the Exit Link setting in the publish settings and to hide the author.

Actually I was wrong. The Exit Link setting was off and wasn't changed. The final page text referred to it but it was off so the final page text referring to it was removed.

That should not cause the course not to load.

Agreed. But something is causing an error in the SCORM file as you can see in the SCORM Error image.

Thanks for letting us know you're seeing this issue. We have this documented as a possible software bug, and we'll let you know here if we have updates to share.
In the meantime, can you try resetting the learner's progress and see if the updated course loads correctly? Let us know how it goes!

Resetting the learner progress from Completed to In Process corrected the problem. In addition, when I then change their status back to Completed, access is still available.
