Link from one Rise 360 course to another Rise 360 course
The button can link to a different URL, so if you have a Rise course URL, you can lik to that.
Hi, if I link to a Rise course URL, will I lose that when I publish the main Rise course to SCORM for uploading to our LMS?

Hello Jacinta,
I'm happy to chime in!
Once you export your Rise course to share with your learners and get a URL link to it, that URL will still be accessible as long as the published course is still active on the server where you uploaded it. Even if you make changes to the Rise course and publish it again to LMS, the first URL will still be active.
Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have additional questions.

Hi Eric,
When you link to another course within the Rise course via an LMS deep link, how do you track that the learner has completed the course that was linked to? Or is it preferred to create the curriculum within the LMS to track completions? Thank you!

Hi HeatherJane! Happy to help!
If you deep link from one course to another, your LMS still treats them as separate courses. So the second one only gets tracked if it’s actually launched and completed in the LMS.
A few quick things to know:
- It depends on how your LMS handles deep links
- Some LMSs only track courses opened from the LMS player
- Because of that, the second course might not always track completion
What usually works best is setting things up in your LMS (like a learning path) instead of linking courses together. That way, each course is tracked properly.
If your LMS supports it, xAPI + an LRS can give you more flexibility, too. Let me know if you have additional questions!
