Making a button set
Storyline is not being cooperative as I try to make a button set from 5 selected items. As soon as I try right-clicking, only the item I right-clicked on remains selected.
Any clues as to how to get Storyline too leave all 5 items selected while I right-click to make them all a Button Set?

It's an odd issue. Have you tried selecting all the items and then pressing Shift + F10 on your keyboard?
You can individually add objects to a button set.
Right click on the first one, and create a new Button Set.
Then right click on the next one and select the name of that new button set.
Repeat until all are added.
