Making edits to a course in Reach 360
Is it still not possible to reversion (by way of publishing the updated course in Storyline) an existing course in Reach 360? All I've been able to do is publish to a new course.
Thanks for checking back in on this, AmandaChristoff!
At this time, Reach 360 doesn’t support true in-place editing or versioning of an existing course. To update content, you’ll need to republish the project and upload the updated version to Reach 360.
While you can publish updates to existing training, larger changes may still require publishing as a new course, which can affect learning paths and learner records.
This behavior hasn’t changed, and the request for more flexible course versioning in Reach 360 is valid product feedback. I’ve shared this thread and your comments with our product team so they can continue to consider improvements in this area.
While I don’t have a timeline to share, we’ll post updates here if anything changes. Thanks for taking the time to follow up and share your perspective.

How does this affect the reporting for the previous version of the course? In other words, if I already have a large number of learners who completed the original version, then another batch of users who have completed the new version, will one report still show ALL of the completion/in progress/not started status for both the original and the revised course?

Your comment above: "While you can publish updates to existing training, larger changes may still require publishing as a new course, which can affect learning paths and learner records" implies that "smaller" changes are possible to existing courses in Reach360. Is this accurate, and if so, how?

Hello BrettFarrell,
I see that you've opened a case and are working with my colleague, Lea. You're in excellent hands! I've shared your replies in this thread so she can follow up and confirm Reach 360 functionality with you. We'll continue the conversation over in your case, so everything is in one spot!
Have a great start to 2026!
