Marker Trigger Issue

Hello everyone,

I am using a Marker to show alternate options in a drop down scenario. I have the trigger set to hide the layer (return to base layer so learners can access the rest of the content) when the timeline ends with the condition set that each marker needs to be visited. I cannot proceed and it does not return to base after clicking each marker, so I am stuck. Here is a capture of my trigger set up- any help is appreciated!

  • Hello Kathryn

There may be a couple of things to consider here -

    1.  You do not need any of the triggers to change the markers to visited.  A visited state automatically works without any triggering.

    2. Your trigger action for hiding the layer is when the timeline ends.  That means you will have had to select all four markers before the end of the timeline.  Chances are, your timeline has already ended, therefore "when the timeline ends" all of them are not visited yet.

The tricky part for you will be "when do you want the layer to hide"  If you set it for when the state of all of the markers are visited, then the layer will close once you select the last marker and you will not see that marker's content.

You may to consider having a close layer button that is hidden, and change its state to normal when all of the markers are visited.

    I hope that helps.
