MATHML or LATEX support
Hello everyone, 🎉
I’m happy to let you know we released a new update for Rise 360. This update adds the following feature:
- Build math equations using LaTeX syntax and revise them by adding color and alt text.
There’s nothing to install for web apps. New features and fixes are immediately available, though you might need to publish your Rise 360 course again.
Let me know if you have any questions about this update or the new feature.
Hi there, Joy. Support for mathematical equations is on our roadmap, but I don't have a timeline yet. We'll keep you posted here!
Should we start a thread somewhere to suggest ways to solve the problem ? I know the nice people at Wiris could help your developers team think this through http://www.wiris.com/en

Thanks for sharing that resource, Fabrice. We'll let you know when we add support for equations.

Hi Crystal. Any update on this? We're currently building computer science modules that make extensive use of mathematical notation, and we're having to insert them as images, which makes for a terrible experience for any visually impaired students. Other course-building platforms we use can support notation, so it's frustrating that Rise still hasn't implemented this functionality – it seems people have been calling for its addition for at least three years now. Thanks!

Hi Gurbukshaw! Thanks for following up on this. Sorry, I don't have any updates for you at this time.
I'm relaying your feedback so our team knows how this has impacted you and your students. If we have an update for you or make any changes on how math equations work in Rise, we'll let you know here.
